Partners in Prevention works with camps and youth groups (both teens and the staff) in workshops ranging from 90-minutes to a half of day. Working in partnership with the camp or youth group, and utilizing appropriate themes and activities from 6 units of the school programs, we create a meaningful and dynamic experience.
A typical program begins with a recovering young person, selected and trained by Beit T’Shuvah staff, who tells his/her "story of self-destruction and redemption/t’Shuvah," stressing the positive role of Jewish values and spiritual principles in their recovery.
Many youth groups that travel through Los Angeles commonly visit Beit T’Shuvah and participate in a workshop on our campus.
