Theater Arts
The beauty of theater is that it makes you feel alive. Discovering parts of yourself you never previously explored is not only empowering, it can also be the catalyst for rediscovering and reconnecting with your true self. A safe place that nurtures self-expression, theater encourages participants to be comfortable in their own skin and take emotional risks. For people in recovery, theater can kick start a sober life of honesty, self-confidence, and inspiration. We help to facilitate this process through different theatrically based groups, including a group centered on our in house production, Freedom Song. Beit T'Shuvah cooperates with professional theater companies throughout Los Angeles. Through this process, residents can become part of the professional theater world in many capacities. The theater department allows countless residents at Beit T'Shuvah to recover their passion and discover their purpose.
