Human Resources ManagerBarbara started her journey with Beit TShuvah 15 years ago as a resident. She came from a background of teaching elementary school and remedial reading as well as executive assistant positions. Barbara started working in the Development Department 9 years ago and during that time, earned an MBA in Non-Profit Management from American Jewish University. Last year, she transitioned into the Human Resources Department. Keeping up with all 111 staff members (and counting!) – from hiring, orientation, trainings, flu and TB shots, insurance enrollments, etc. – has really enabled Barbara to fully use her natural skill with people and her organizational abilities. Recently, keeping the department and staff in line with JCAHO standards and practices, as well as Federal and State law, has proven to be an exciting challenge. Barbara is eager to continue learning and growing, whatever the next project may be.
