What started as a couple kids in a closet (literally!) designing brochures for Beit T’Shuvah has now expanded into a flourishing design and photography agency, providing creative services to over 30 local non-and for-profit businesses.
Clients choosing to work with Creative Matters receive game-changing creative work for their organization, including but not limited to such products as: Websites, Company Magazines, Annual Reports, Brochures, Event Collateral, Logo Design & Brand Identity, and more.
Perhaps the most unique part of working with Creative Matters is our social mission. Beit T'Shuvah residents who have a strong passion for copywriting, graphic design, photography, and videography are given 9-month internships that allow them to cultivate their passion and acquire new skills. These internships lay the foundation for professional development and personal fulfillment, cultivating the confidence to pursue careers in the upwardly mobile marketing industry. Interns graduate with an impressive portfolio, real world experience, and finely tuned skills.
Creative Matters has ten full-time staff members, and anywhere from 4-7 interns working at one time. We are also very fortunate to have the guidance of advertising and marketing expert Russell Kern, founder of The Kern Organization.
All of the profit Creative Matters generates goes straight back into Beit T’Shuvah, so they can continue providing no-and-low-cost treatment to struggling addicts and alcoholics. The faith and support of our grant benefactors, The Jewish Community Foundation and the Erwin Rautenberg Foundation, have enabled us to continue providing intern education and large agency creative services at small agency price tags.
To date, Creative Matters has produced all of Beit T’Shuvah’s marketing and event collateral, in addition to an abundance of outside work. Some of these clients include: Fatburger, Mammoth Mountain, Vista Del Mar, Homeboy Industries, American Jewish University & Wells Fargo, Social Venture Partners, American Diabetes Association, Kehillat Israel, and much more!
