Welcome to a different kind of congregation.

Congregation Beit T'Shuvah is a place where temple dodgers become temple enthusiasts... mostly because we are committed to doing it differently. Every temple touts energetic music, a lively atmosphere, and a warm community. But here's what sets us apart: ours was created to save lives and to make Judaism relevant for all.

The only synagogue in the world that's born out of an addiction treatment center, each member of Congregation Beit T'Shuvah is vital to our community and the members within. Our music is energetic-it's largely originally composed by our choir and band, or set to such favorite tunes as Motown and the Beatles. Our atmosphere is lively-we dance on our feet, break out into Conga lines, we even freestyle rap in the middle of the service. Our community is warm. Our members grab the mic to express public gratitude, make amends, or celebrate the incredible miracle of Sober Birthdays. It's humbling and inspiring, and we get to experience it every week.

So when our newest member, 13-year-old Sofie says, "Even her very conservative cousin thought it was EPIC," that's because our Congregation is designed with intention: to include and ignite every single soul, especially those that have been disinterested or left out for too long.

Here, just showing up means you are giving back: helping to create a community that saves lives. You matter.

Pay-What-You-Can Membership
At Congregation Beit T'Shuvah, our unique and diverse members are our greatest asset. Because of that, we offer a Pay-What-You-Can membership structure that ensures that membership is within everyone's reach.

Our membership program simply requests that each member or family makes a commitment that is comfortable for them. Our recommended contribution of $600 per family and $400 per individual does much to defray our temple's annual operating costs. Whatever you can afford today, whatever gift your heart moves you to make, allows Beit T'Shuvah to exist as a sanctuary for all.

High Holiday Services
Leave behind your old notions of High Holidays as mandatory and monotonous. At Congregation Beit T'Shuvah, the number one concern is uplifting your soul.

Join us in the open space of our new location Unici Casa and experience this annual ritual as you never have before. Our dynamic clergy, choir and band lead a spirited and stirring service. Unique to our community, the service is also studded with raw and vulnerable stories of second chances from our residents and alumni. It is a true forum for authentic connection.

Please continue on to the membership application and become a part of our unique community.
