“Jewels of Elul Vol. VII” is a booklet not unlike the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” series; filled with short, inspirational anecdotes and insights from some of the most impressive famous and under-the-radar names influencing the global Jewish community. These nuggets of wisdom come in all shapes and sizes, shared from the likes of Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Ruth Messinger, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Rabbi Richard Jacobs, and many other unique thinkers of our generation.

Elul is the month of the Hebrew calendar that precedes the Jewish High Holydays. Dedicated to bettering and repairing oneself each day, it is a time for people to search their hearts and draw closer to the Divine. With 29 contributions, one for each day of the month of Elul, ‘Jewels of Elul” has enough soul-satisfying snippets to help you on your month-long journey of betterment and last you through the High Holydays and beyond.

Every cent of your “Jewels” purchase goes toward Beit T’Shuvah, ensuring that we remain true to our open door policy of never turning a troubled soul away over money.

Some inspired uses of 'Jewels' in the past:

  • Gifting the members of your club or organization
  • Replacing the Happy New Year/Rosh Hashanah card (now it’s something they can benefit from, not just hang on the fridge!)
  • Placing them on each seat of your synagogue for the High Holydays
  • Replacing the tired, tried custom of Benchers at your family Simcha (occasion) with handing out Jewels instead!
  • Keepsakes for your guests at your home holiday table.
