A NEW YEAR – A NEW CAREER CENTER

THE LEONARD & SUSAN NIMOY CAREER CENTER

The goal of the expanded Career Center is to help residents who have been sober for at least 90 days to find passion and purpose through work education and/or vocational training.

Each resident goes through an assessment process and is directed to job placement, educational/vocational training or unpaid internships.  They are assisted in preparing resumes and interviewing skills.

The majority of residents over the years have been interested in or skilled in the following areas:

•    Culinary food services
•    Service fields (recovery counseling)
•    Computers
•    Building trades
•    Sales and Marketing
•    Performing Arts

If you can provide job opportunities, training or an unpaid internship, please call Alison Goldberg the Career Center at 310-204-5200, x216.
